Advertising Tips
We recommend that all advertising has to be approved by a designated member of the Tuck Shop Committee or alternatively the committee is given the authority to withdraw inappropriate advertising.
Advertising of menu choices and prices should
be a priority. Avenues could include:
l Menu Board - permanent display board(s);
l Specials Board - that advertises specials for
the day or week;
l Price Lists - ensure that these are up-to-date
and easy to find;
l Posters - preferably designed by students;
l School Notices - advertise the full menu,
specials and changes.
Items classed as 'Everyday' foods should, where
possible, be more visible or obviously displayed
than 'Sometimes' foods.
It may be possible to get sponsorship from suppliers to advertise on your campus, obviously with preference for the healthiest options.
